FUNCTIONAL CANOPIES FOR A COMFORTABLE AND STYLISH PATIO

Challenge: To design canopies for a restaurant’s outdoor seating area that would blend in with the natural surroundings, characterized by a very uneven terrain and surrounded by trees and rocks. The goal was to ensure comfort and shade year-round.

Solution:

• Use of Unidomes in three different sizes (10 m², 15 m², and 25 m²) to create independent and adaptable spaces
• Dome with a wooden frame and a transparent canvas cover
• Several domes with galvanized steel frames, covered with camouflage netting, blending harmoniously with the natural surroundings
• Installation of circular elevated decks made of rustic wood and access ramps to facilitate movement and create a cohesive visual and functional experience
• Incorporation of lighting systems and the use of shade cloths to provide shade, ensuring comfort both day and night.
